AOPA Bulgaria took part in the meeting held by CAA on 2.11.2021 at 10:00 am on the topic of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/664 on the regulatory framework for U-space (commencement of implementation 26.01.2023).
AOPA Bulgaria stated a position for active participation in the preparation and implementation of the regulatory framework, including assistance in testing the systems for servicing unmanned aerial vehicles (UC) by U-space suppliers in the controlled and uncontrolled airspace of the Republic of Bulgaria, calling on its members in order to participate in the process to get acquainted in detail with:
• Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/664 of 22 April 2021 on the regulatory framework for U-space,
• Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/665 of 22 April 2021 amending Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373 as regards requirements for air traffic management / air navigation service providers and other network functions for air traffic control in U-space defined in controlled airspace, and
• Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/666 of 22 April 2021 amending Regulation (EU) № 923/2012 as regards the requirements for manned aviation performed in U-space.
AOPA Bulgaria is looking for a suitable solution for providing its members with on-board devices (trackers) of the BLIP type (Broadcast Location & Identification Platform).
